Thank you for your visit.

I am a quantitative experimental behavioral scientist, with expertise in decision science, persuasion, and human-technology interaction. I received PhD training in The Netherlands, and postdoc training from Harvard Business School and Harvard Medical School.

I have led research groups at Disney Research and Snap Inc., translating research and analytics to business outcomes and improvements. The research I did at Disney and Snap was inspired by the businesses’ needs and my and my teams’ personal interests.

My research has been published in journals (including Science, Psychological Science, the Journal of Marketing Research, Computers in Human Behavior, and The Review of Economic Studies) and at computer science conferences (including CHI, CSCW, and ICWSM).

My work has also been covered in the news, including by the Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, NPR, and The New York Times.
